Back from vacation...

...words can't describe. Two days in Vancouver, seven days on the Sapphire Princess up the Alaskan Inside Passage, stops in Ketchican, Juneau, Skagway, Glacier Bay and College Fjord, and two days in Anchorage. All with some of the sweetest, handsomest and best-natured men (and 2700 other people, who were very nice, I'm sure).

Sunlight at midnight. Orcas leaping after sea otters. Multiple dinner entrees. The Parade of the Baked Alaskas. And we bought a Wii at the Anchorage CostCo!!

Here's a glacier---lots more pics to come---

What a gorgeous, gorgeous, gorgeous photo!

Any chance of getting a high-resolution version to use as a desktop wallpaper? It's so beautiful, and serene...

Morgan wanted to take me on an Alaskan cruise this year for my birthday. I discouraged him because, frankly, its freakin' cold up there and I do not do cold! The photo is breathtaking however and would be wonderful to see for myself. We're still talking about it, but so far I'm not totally convinced.

Welcome Back. I knew you would love the Sapphire Princess and the mini suites on the back of Emerald Deck. I can't wait for my cruise to Alaska in 77 days.

Cruising IS Living!
