New stuff!!!

Steve (rootbeer1) had his appointment with Dr. Lundy, his wonderful orthopedic surgeon. Everything is going well--Steve's knee is at 130° flexion, and normal extension. We asked about wearing the brace, and the doctor gave Steve a new, chic, streamlined model, seen here:

Note the nifty retro pole lamp in the corner, which was one of Steve's Xmas presents from moi, courtesy of eBay.

Wow! That is one snazzy brace! Nice lamp, too. Love the fabric on the chair in the foreground as well. Great colors.

Rats! I'm gonna have to work harder. I've got almost that much flexion, but I'm shy about 10* extension. *sigh*

Nice-looking streamlined model, and the brace isn't bad either.

Retro pole lamp: good.
Bendy knee: better.

You'll have Steve dancing on that pole lamp in no time!

New model = more mobility

more mobility = you two getting out and socializing more

more socializing = greater chance of ACTUALLY meeting the two of you.

Meeting the two of you = fun!

fun! = priceless

choose mastercard!

I'm very glad for steve... but the old metal one had more of a turn-on factor for me.

Don't worry -- I still have it, and can wear it "by request."

Steve does for Ambulatory Prosthesis what Cher did for navel jewelry.
