Hey, you visited my state!
But it looks suspiciously like the path of I-80 through the midwest. :~)

Hey, it looks like you followed I-80 to or from California. No fair. Unless you were investigating rest stops. Then I want to hear all about it.

Yup, it was our cross-country drive to California, but we did stop at least for a meal in each state. We kept a pretty extensive trip diary (with drawings) too. If we can find it, maybe I'll scan a few pages and post 'em.

I guess you like maps eh? You should get together with my dad. The ladies at the Grass Valley Chamber of Commerce (where he volunteers) call him "Map Boy" because he knows where everything is. The man is like a walking map.

I used to collect roadmaps when I was a kid. Gas stations used to give them away for free. I wish I still had them--I think my youngest brother swiped them. I still have a few newer ones, and just today bought the National Geographic world map software.

Speaking of cool maps
Have you seen the earth projection at The Buckminster Fuller Institute website? I have one on my wall at work.

Re: Speaking of cool maps
I love it! I'm gonna order one. Maybe the globe, too--the map folds up into an icosahedron.

I'm a big fan of Bucky, ever since architecture school.
