I note with some amusement that Utah's score on housing discrimination is appallingly low. And forget second-parent adoption!!

That is fascinating; Iowa really is quite an "outlier," isn't it? And the top of the chart - generally speaking, New England and nearby, the West Coast and nearby.

There was a similar chart recently, tracking the change in approval % for same-sex marriage over the past ... 30 years I think.

What was interesting to me; states that started out "even" aren't always that way now. My home state of South Dakota & Montana were even in 1980, but support in MT is significantly higher now.

Well... although you've got the lowest approval for marriage equality - overall, you're doing better than Utah, I think.

I know, I know - small comfort.

To me it's fascinating that in terms of equality legislation enacted, Iowa is ahead of California despite lower public approval rating for every single one of those rights.

You guys need to elect some better politicians ...
